Priorities
Eustis is growing, and growth brings both opportunities and challenges. I believe growth should create opportunity for the people who already live here. Every decision made by city government should be evaluated through one simple question: How does this benefit Eustis residents? My priorities focus on protecting what makes our city special while creating opportunities for future generations. Responsible Growth & Community Investment Growth is coming to Eustis whether we plan for it or not. The question is whether that growth will strengthen our community or place additional strain on our roads, infrastructure, public safety services, and neighborhoods. I support thoughtful growth that:
- Protects existing neighborhoods
- Invests in roads, utilities, and infrastructure
- Encourages quality development
- Maintains the character of our community
- Creates opportunities for residents and local businesses
- Protect our lakes and natural resources
- Preserve green spaces where possible
- Support clean, safe, and welcoming parks
- Invest in recreational opportunities for residents
- Promote environmental stewardship and beautification efforts
- Supporting workforce development programs
- Strengthening partnerships with educational institutions
- Encouraging businesses that provide quality jobs
- Supporting local entrepreneurs and small businesses
- Creating pathways to higher-paying careers
- Responsible budgeting
- Transparent decision-making
- Evaluating spending priorities
- Seeking efficiencies through technology and innovation
- Maintaining strong public safety services while managing costs responsiblyGood government means delivering value to residents while planning responsibly for the future.
